Douglas (Dougie) Millings (1913-2001) was a London tailor known as "the Beatles' tailor". Millings began designing for Britain|British pop stars such as Cliff Richard and Adam Faith in the early 1960s and made the collar (clothing)|collarless suit (clothes)|suits the Beatles wore on their first USA|American tour in 1964 as well as the stage suits for the movie Help!. All told, Millings made more than 500 outfits for the band. Millings had a small part as a frustrated tailor in the movie A Hard Day's Night.
