Hogging Wikipedia

Hogging refers to a type of predatory sexual behavior, practiced most avidly among American college students, in which men seduction | seduce obesity | fat women as a type of sport. In contrast to fat admirers, who find fat women particularly attractive, "hogging" - either in the act itself, or the retelling of it to friends - is generally meant to be demeaning.

Hogging was referred to as such starting at least in the early 1990s at various college campuses. The term was in use at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona by 1992 and at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky by 1993. The term was being used at Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois and at Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois by 1999. In 2003 the Cleveland Scene published an article about hogging in Cleveland, Ohio bars; the author, a female, was critical of the practice, but weblinks were heartily passed around by practitioners of hogging who enjoyed the article and found it humorous.

We may distinguish two main varieties of hogging:

*In one version, the man seduces a fat or significantly chubby woman, pretending to be interested in a relationship - and concealing the crucial fact that he really holds her in disdain. Afterwards the man either mocks the woman in some cruel way, or simply disappears. Often he shares the experience with friends as a source of humor. Such friends may be in competition, either to seduce the greatest number of fat women or the fattest individual woman in the course of their hogging.

*More broadly, the term may be used of any man who sleeps with a fat woman primarily out of desperation, intoxication or boredom, then later speaks disparagingly of his conquest or belittles himself for doing so or is involuntarily caught by his friends while hogging and outed or ridiculed as a hogger.

Hogging may also describe when an inebriated man is seduced by a fat or chubby female with whom he would not fornicate while sober.

The term hogging is sometimes used to describe when men seduce women who may not be fat but are also not very attractive (such as a butterface, a bagger or a Cleveland Brown (female)|Cleveland Brown).

Some athletic teams regard it to be good luck if a member of the team goes hogging the night before an important game and sometimes even designate a member to do so. Others believe that having a designated member of the team go hogging will end a losing streak for a team. A famous practicioner of hogging as slumpbuster was Chicago Cubs and Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman Mark Grace, who said: "The slumpbuster is when you have to take one for the team. It's finding the biggest, nastiest, fattest broad, and you put the wood to her to come out of your slump."

Men sometimes engage in hogging as a slumpbuster in the hopes of ending a period of time in which they have gone without sex. Some people use the terms hogging and slumpbuster synonymously.
