Khetoane reigned from 1895 to 1959. She was preceded by Rain Queen Masalanabo Modjadji and succeeded by Rain Queen Makoma Modjadji. In 1894 her predecessor, Masalanabo Modjadji, committed ritual suicide. Khetoane was the daughter of Masalanabo's "sister" and became the heir because Masalanabo's council had already designated it before Masalanabo's death. start box succession box | | title = Rain Queen of Balobedu | years = 1895–1959 | before = Masalanabo Modjadji | after = Makoma Modjadji | end box Category:1869 births|Modjadji, K Category:1959 deaths|Modjadji, K Category:Queens regnant|Modjadji, Khetoane Category:South African people|Modjadji, Khetoane SouthAfrica-stub This article is licensed under the GNU Free Documentation License.
