Kurdish people|Kurdish women played an important role throughout Kurdish history. Asenath Barzani was the first female Rabbi in history. Mestureh Ardalan (Mest??rey Erdelan) (1805 -1848) was a Kurdish poet and writer. She is known for her books two centuries ago.
