Leslie Hall Pinder (born 1946 in Saskatchewan) is a Canada|Canadian lawyer and writer. After earning her B.A. in English literature in 1968, she worked as a court reporter while pursuing legal studies, and obtained her LL.B. in 1976. She published two novels, Under the House in 1986 and On Double Tracks, in 1990. On Double Tracks was a nominee for the 1990 Governor General's Awards|1990 Governor General's Award for English Fiction. Pinder's only publications after On Double Tracks have been legal work. As a lawyer, she has worked primarily on First Nations land claims in British Columbia.
