Image:Psi_logo.gif|right|The logo of Postpartum Support International Postpartum Support International (PSI) is an international 501(c)(3) non-profit devoted to eliminating the denial and ignorance of emotional health related to childbirth. Formed on June 26, 1987, PSI has 90 coordinators worldwide offering social support to mothers and families who have suffered from a postpartum mood disorder such as postpartum depression or postpartum psychosis. The purpose of the organization is to increase awareness among public and professional communities about the emotional changes women often experience during pregnancy and after birth. PSI releases a newsletter called PSI news 4 times a year. PSI holds conferences in cities around the world.
