In pregnancy terms, the moment of quickening referred to as the initial motion of the fetus in the womb as it is felt by the mother. It normally occurs about the middle of a pregnancy, or around 18 weeks. Some consider this to be the beginning of the possession of "individual life" by the fetus. med-stub Category:Pregnancy This article is licensed under the GNU Free Documentation License.
