Rachel Fuller Brown (November 23, 1898 - January 14, 1980) was an American scientist. Shew was born in Springfield, Massachusetts and received her undergraduate education at Mount Holyoke College and her graduate education in chemistry from the University of Chicago. Brown collaborated with Elizabeth Lee Hazen through postal mail to develop the first useful antifungal antibiotic, nystatin.
