Viviane Forrester (born in 1927 in Paris) is a writer, essayist, novelist and literary critic. She works for Le Monde, Le Nouvel Observateur et Quinzaine litt??raire and is member of the jury of the Prix Femina. She became famous internatinally by her books on political affairs. In L'Horreur ??conomique and Une ??trange dictature she criticizes the globalisation of society.
